Zaakash, Inc. (“Zaakash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information through our website, email signup forms, Zaakash Inner Circle community, and community bot.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:
- Contact information: your email address, name, and information you provide when contacting us.
- Signup information: your subscription preferences and records of when and how you signed up or unsubscribed.
- Community information: your Discord user ID, username, membership status, roles, and information you submit through community features.
- Membership and rewards information: your membership card details, scent preferences, qualifying activities, referral records, Circle Points balances, and reward history.
- Optional profile information: information you choose to provide, such as your birthday month and day for birthday benefits.
- Technical information: information generated when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and security logs.
If you link a customer account or claim a purchase-related reward, we may also process the order information needed to verify eligibility.
Please do not submit payment card details, government identification numbers, passwords, or sensitive personal information through community channels or bot commands.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Send the email updates and marketing messages you request.
- Operate the Inner Circle, membership cards, bot features, and rewards.
- Verify qualifying purchases, referrals, and community activities.
- Respond to questions and resolve account or reward issues.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce community rules.
- Meet legal obligations and keep appropriate business records.
Email choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not automatically delete your membership or community records. We may still send essential, nonmarketing messages about a request, account, or transaction where permitted by law.
Joining our Discord community does not, by itself, subscribe you to email marketing.
Discord and community visibility
Discord operates independently from Zaakash and handles information under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Messages, profile details, and membership information you share in community channels may be visible to other members. Other users may copy or share content you post. Please use care when sharing personal information.
Our bot processes information provided through its features and relevant community events to operate membership, rewards, and moderation functions. Leaving the Discord server does not automatically delete information held by Zaakash; contact us to request deletion.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us operate our website, email communications, hosting, customer support, and community features, as needed for those services.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect people or our services, investigate fraud, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, subject to applicable safeguards.
The current landing page does not include advertising pixels or send signup information to advertising networks for targeted advertising. Signup information collected through this page is used for the purposes described in this policy, not to sell advertising audience lists.
Cookies and similar technologies
The current landing page does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or nonessential tracking cookies. Its videos, fonts, and images are served as website assets rather than embedded advertising or analytics services.
Our hosting and signup services process technical information needed to deliver the website, handle signup requests, and prevent abuse. Following a Discord link takes you to a separate service governed by Discord’s own privacy and cookie practices.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Information retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing membership features, maintaining reward records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations.
Retention depends on the information involved and why it is held. We may retain limited unsubscribe information to ensure that we respect your marketing preferences.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses.
Send requests to legal@zaakash.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Certain information may be retained where legally required or permitted. Where applicable, you may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, storage system, or method of transmission can guarantee complete security.
Children’s privacy
Our website and Inner Circle are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Discord participation is also subject to Discord’s applicable minimum-age requirements.
Where information is processed
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
